      The individual contributors are amazing

      Mid and upper management are a mess - they are based in Santa Clara and haven’t a clue what happens in Bellevue or what the products produced there do. Shutting down the entire office in Bellevue, completely pulling out of the talent pool in the area. Everything tends to be set by the sales organization, including engineering deadlines. Ridiculous release schedules resulted from this.

      The only good thing currently is the People

      There is growing concerns about the stability of the firm especially after some significant financial decisions that impact people globally. Project pipeline is at an all time low and direct seems aimless at this time. Hitachi Consulting is going through a rough time that I hope gets better but right now this ship is sinking.

      The current mgmt team have this ship sinking.The transition is just a bunch of smoke and new org charts.The mgmt team are more concerned with micro mgmt of their sales force than they are about customer satisfaction.
