Chaos, lack of communication about the vision of the comp
Pros
100% remote limited travel Unlimited PTO (if you can find time to take it) The people (for the most part) are fine human beings Mental health is valued
Cons
The pay is marginal, empty promises for pay increases. For example, the CHRO lied in a corporate town hall about pay increases. Promotions are also a joke even if you have been identified as a leader and rewarded in a 1-time bonus (that is basically a 12 month handcuff) Women are definitely the minority in the leadership team. Women are marginalized in my opinion. The current CEO has not communicated his vision for the org - just cut personnel to get "fit to compete" however cutting so deep and then rehiring is just a step backward. The chaos it creates when the knowledge base is let go, then good people follow because the amount of work went up and the workforce went down. If you can find a day to take off then you will enjoy your unlimited PTO but good luck. There is always a crisis, product launches are a joke. the lack of oversight and leadership it is a miracle Hitachi can even get a new product announced.
