Pros

Compensation was good. Most Sundays off. Employees that I worked with.

Cons

Even though the pay was good, the hours were very long and sometimes the pay was not worth it. I was not trained but yet constantly told that I should have learned something in training. Was constantly being threatened with being fired but never was there any motivating words, only insults. I expected more from a "Christian" company. Even though you are told you have Sundays off, you are still required to work Sundays when they tell you to and ESPECIALLY during the holidays.

Pros

Good morals. Christian based ethical company. Store hours good compared to other retailers. Monday - Saturday 9-8, and closed Sundays. Work week typically 50 t0 60 hours, good for family time. Upper management truly seems to care in your development. Great place to work.

Cons

Be Careful when unloading trucks! You get 1 to 2 per week, full from front to back, and often looking like loaded by catapult. Very low tech merchandising and ordering processes. Many things you would like to implement in your store that are out of the norm must be approved in advance by upper management.
