      Pros

      Hodgson Russ LLP uses top-notch technology and offers extensive training for employment.

      Cons

      The firm allows and condones attorney mistreatment of their employees. It is common place for bosses to belittle their secretaries/paralegals which fuels the extremely poor employee morale. Human resources offers little relief to this behavior and "secretarial leads" serve as biased liaisons between attorneys and their assistants.

      adequate place to work if you are not looking for recognition and decent pay

      flexibility, name recognition, ability to work independent

      Cons

      Staff support is inadequate. Heavy work load but you have to fight for overtime, very little respect shown to paralegals by attorneys and secretaries. they are treated like the red headed step children. Reviews and salaries are based on tenure not on performance and quality.

      The environment is relaxed and not too formal. Flexibility in working with schedules, time off and overtime. Fun and positive group of people for the most part.

      Cons

      End of the year bonuses and raises are not the best, there is no vision or dental insurance.
