Thank you for sharing! A differentiating factor among Holder is our hiring and staffing strategy. Holder hires many young associates out of college strategically to set them up for a long career with organic growth in the company. Holder’s associate growth strategy involves promoting and hiring internally. To ensure we have a pipeline of associates available to step up and fill vacant positions, we give associates great responsibility and valuable experience early on in their career.

Thank you for leaving a review. We acknowledge that work-life balance can be a challenge in the construction industry but empower associates to ask for help when workload gets heavy. Managers are expected to challenge their associates to promote career growth and opportunity. We have a robust associate development program and we empower associates to seek out development opportunities that challenge them when they are ready. Our culture of “develop each other” indicates development is a two-way street between associates and their manager, and we encourage associates to let manager's know if they feel their performance deserves advancement.

Thank you for leaving a review. Overcoming challenges is essential to career growth, and we are glad to hear you're experiencing this on your project. With challenges often come longer hours as associates work through a learning curve. If work-life balance becomes unmanageable, we encourage you to notify your manager so that it can be addressed accordingly. We strive for associates to live a balanced life to avoid burnout, and keep everyone happy, healthy, and performing their best.
