Pros

They'll hire anyone full time , and if they don't hire you FT , give it a week and you will be, turnover is off the charts high.

Cons

Horrible work environment, low wages, no respect for anyone, violates nearly every basic human right as set for by the United Nations (not just for this country). Relies on a handful of responsible employees to carry the work load (if you have a good work ethic don't waste it here, you'll just be taken advantage of). No performance reviews, no raises, no health benefits even for FT employees, no 401 k, no savings plan, no opportunity for advancement, used to have vacation, but place was sold and new owners saw fit to take it away (but hey, after nearly 10 years of service I'm sure they're not benefitting from anything I've learned right ?) And I could go on, but those of you reading this get the jist by now. And if you have kids contemplating going to school for hospitality, please encourage them in another direction, because this industry is starved for bright minds and they certainly don't need an education to work in it. Don't let them waste their bright mind here. As I've said, I could go on, but there would be volumes to write. What is my intention ? I sincerely hope that I've encouraged others to take a different path to something more fruitful, satisfying, and that can actually lead to something for them. Don't waste any of your time at this establishment or this industry in general.

Pros

Getting to meet people from all over. MOST staff was nice and worked as a team.

Cons

Where do I start. Managers who can't properly staff. Managers that tell you you're doing great only to tell you a day later you're not good enough and they let you go without warning and without you violating any policies. Then refuse to give a specific reason for it when confronted other than it was "the company's decision". A cop out generic answer. Special treatment to some because of relations to higher up managers/owners ie. Talking on cell phones while working and not on break against company policy. Extremely poor communication from managers. Absentee department managers. Employees speaking to each other in other languages so others can't understand them despite proficiently speaking English. I can understand parts of other languages, however using it to talk behind someone's back is callous and rude. Absolutely the worst orientation I have ever had. Absolutely zero setup for success.
