Pros

Good opportunity for all levels, if you perform well, you will be offered promotions. Work environment is nice, great office space and location. Management is nice and helpful, with open door policies, but they are often busy. Benefits are pretty good. Low turn over, staff seems to be happy to stay and loyal. CEO personally address' all staff when they launch a big new client and the staff appreciates that. He also personally offers bonus' for staff on the floor and personally pays them.

Cons

Management seems to be really busy often with client launches, seems like we need more managers for that. Underground parking is only for managers.

Pros

Underground parking....for management employees only. Cutting edge technology.

Cons

This is - by far - the worst company I ever worked for. I'm actually embarrassed that I was an employee there! First day on the job you are greeted with the fact that you have two 10 minute breaks, a 30 minute lunch and, regardless of level, you punch in and out for work and lunch (even if you are a Manager or Director). You are also told that it is a privilege to interact with the CEO, however you should never go into his office even if the door is open. If you are invited to meet with him, you are told to bring a pad of paper and something to write with and to remain silent until addressed. Seriously? Most CEOs are smart and extraordinarily busy individuals; however they enjoy interaction with their employees. The benefits are a joke; substandard medical benefits, a minimal number of paid Holidays (less than any other company that i've ever worked for), NO 401k, you don't get a week of paid vacation until after a year of employment, and so on. However the real downfall of this company is the culture. The CEO throws temper tantrums and directs profanity-laced tirades at employees. I've never witnessed people being publicly humiliated by the CEO on regular basis until I worked here. HSI brags about having a "no politics" culture but i found the complete opposite to be true. I would never advise my worst enemy to work at this place. It was simply awful.

Pros

Company is definitely "forward thinking" and experiences no seasonal lulls like most travel companies. Company pays well for hard-working individuals. Benefits are good....full medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation time, etc. Friendly and professional co-workers. Nice secure office in quiet and safe area.

Cons

While benefits are good, would be nice to have 401k. The company has some turnover but not more than any other call-center. The company hires over achievers and if you turn out not to be an over achiever, you won't last.
