Pros

-No micromanagement, but this also depends on your region. -Popular Mammogrpahy product. Hologic generally has a very good reputation in the Breast cancer world. -Company Car or personal car reimbursement, which is standard in the FSE world.

Cons

-Lowering the bonuses of BSH Engineers by almost 5k a year. -Very small pay increases that don’t even match annual inflation, which is a joke. -Half the time parts are DOA or don’t even ship. You are responsible for telling the customer that the machine will be down another day, which is always a fun convo. -Stryker mindset. Hologic has hired dozens of Stryker managers to transform the culture into what Stryker is. Stryker is a sales driven company, and does not at all benefit the FSE. That mindset is coming here.

Pros

The support team is fantastic, Parts, Support and Field Service.

Cons

Upper management's ridiculous metric based goals. The "goal posts are constantly being moved, especially towards utilization metrics; instead of customer satisfaction based metrics. Once providing great customer satisfaction mattered, now it feels like it's fallen to the wayside, replaced by raw metrics.
