      Pros

      There are more than enough friendly people who are prepared to go the extra mile to get good results for everyone. Excellent clean envirnoment where good health and safety are of paramount importance.

      Cons

      Much better since a very poor untalented manager was sacked at the end of November. The company will improve if they employ people who are genuine team players and not solely there for themselves. Wages are low and this leads for what appears to be rapid staff turnover and vast sickness.

      Pros

      I can't say for the rest of the groups at Hologic, but for my group you will learn a lot as you will dealing with various departments such as R&D, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs. Such interactions will definitely enable you learn and pick up new skills and apply them.

      Cons

      As mentioned, this was a manufacturing position as such it was viewed as less important by upper management (at least from what I can tell) and as a result you get the short end of the stick when it comes to compensation.
