Pros

Great benefits, I feel like my voice is heard, there are many great managers, great mission and products, and we are currently on a great upward trend. There are many very knowledgable people at the company with passion and wit. There is opportunity for growth individually and as a whole. Hologic is full of great people and it's easy to make friends and feel at home.

Cons

Can still feel the divide of employees coming in from acquisitions (specifically Gen-Probe), hard to feel the life-saving mission we have when working in a department that doesn't directly handle products, and employees can get away with anything-- many managers have no idea that their reports surf the web or reddit all day.

Pros

Opportunities for growth, and the freedom to do your job as well as you can. Organization cares about educating and caring for its employees.

Cons

Management does not take as much initiative - may seem a little timid at times. While there is freedom to do your job well there is also freedom to do your job poorly. Things tend to work themselves out but only after months or years.

Pros

Excellent comp and benefits and good work/life balance. "The Science of Sure" plays out in real life as the company's culture and management is focused on its mission of saving and improving lives.

Cons

The only thing I might mention as a con is that there has been a lot of change in the organization over the past few years due to a new management team being installed. That being said, most of the change has been for the better.
