      Pros

      The company is large and has lots of resources at your fingertips in terms of learning practical laboratory skills and diving into the biotech industry.

      Cons

      Culture could change. Everyone seems bitter, stressed, and angry. I think the company needs to learn to value its people over its systems.

      The people are good with and the work is challenging. Good place to work. Overtime is available but not mandatory.

      Cons

      Upper management is mostly okay. Some have no idea what is going on but that's normal for companies these days. How can you make good business Decisions if you don't know what's going on?

      Great products, great sales

      Pros

      Operational management is very competent. They know how to attack and win markets. Acquisitions actually make sense, although a bit slow to integrate.

      Cons

      Too many employees who served their time given promotions and management responsibilties for no other reason than technical achievement in the past. No clear direction for professional development, especially if you are stuck with a bad boss who has "done the time". Somewhat of a butt-kissing culture.
