Pros

You can make decent money here in college or when you're younger. Other than that, there isnt much room for advancement besides being a plant manager

Cons

Not much training besides shadowing a driver. It pretty much consists of cautionary messages even though they text and call you while you're driving.

Pros

I worked here part-time in the office. My boyfriend was the one who told me they were hiring, they hire friends and family mainly not a lot of job postings for office positions. Kathy was amazing, she worked with my other jobs crazy hours and showed me everything needed to get my job done.

Cons

long hours for drivers.

Pros

Opportunity for someone with few skills to work a lot of hours and receive an okay paycheck. They hire mostly college students over the summer. Fairly relaxed corporate culture.

Cons

Memorial Day/4th of July weekends & heatwaves, you are expected to work at least 12 hours, to up to 16 hours per day, back to back. Some guys even worked from 7am-2am a few days! The end of your shift is until finished, so you could work from 7am-10pm depending if they give you a ton of stores with lots of driving. The best I averaged was only $13 an hour during a week, most of the time it was between $11-12, not the $14/hour they advertise. Trucks towards the end of summer kept breaking down, left me stranded for 2 hours one time and since it's commission based I wasn't getting paid for sitting around. I was never at a weigh station but fully loaded with 9 skids of ice the truck had to be over 26,000 pounds and you would need a cdl license, but the company is too cheap to hire drivers with a cdl and comply with the hourly driving restrictions that come with a cdl.
