      Pros

      This job is a good workout which requires an individual to be capable of lifting 10-20lb bags throughout a ~12-hr shift. This company hires a lot of people over summers and focuses a lot of attention to students at an institution who are in need of a Summer income. An income of over $1300 a month can be expected. It is a good job that provides general driving experience and may provide CDL training for future work prospects. The management cares for your safety.

      Cons

      This job is strenuous and requires endurance and caution. This job is unsafe whilst driving a large truck through traffic and crowded urban areas. The operation of the lift gate is dangerous and can injure a person without care. The heat of the Summer wears a person thin throughout this job. There is a lot of learning on the job and the 1st Summer drivers will not earn as much and will be placed at the bottom of the totem pole as far as routes go. Trucks have no A/C and some of the trucks lack radio. Management has a lot of favoritism.

      Great pay potential Days go by really fast Very understanding and helpful managers

      Cons

      Some days can be long Usually an issue with any truck, but nothing TOO bad Commission can screw you over some days.
