-Management: Across the board management needs to do better. There is a high lack of communication from management to staff and to customers. You either get a manager that is a nice person but never communicates and refuses to correct an employee that is doing something wrong or you get a manager that is not such a nice person and is constantly berating the staff and sometimes you get a manager who has absolutely no idea what they're doing because they were an outside hire due to the high turn over rate for plant management positions. -They are constantly buying out companies meanwhile employees (especially those working office or call center) are incredibly underpaid, and they are not able to keep up with current customer base. Why are they expanding when it's clear they need giant changes implemented? Who knows. -There are CONSTANT technical issues, I mean constant. At least once a week all computers are essentially useless and the IT department is slow to respond to issues, if you work weekends good luck getting anyone from IT. -It is made incredibly clear that they do not care about call center or office staff, even though we are the voice of the company. Not only by the lack of pay but lack of communication, 9 times out of 10 they make giant decisions affecting all or a lot of customers and/or purchase a new company and then WE get all the calls about this meanwhile we have no idea what the customer is talking about. -In my opinion a large part of this company is sexist, whether it goes all the way to corporate or not it's made quite clear at quite a few of the plants and through driver interactions I had (I was sexually harassed on many occasions and nothing was done about it, not only was I sexually harassed but I was a MINOR and I know other girls at other plants that experienced the same. All drivers are at least 18.) I was even sexually harassed by a plant manager from a different plant! -I didn't really get to know the new call center manager, I liked the old one perfectly find but I do know she's an outside hire. I don't understand why they would outside hire for this position when there are call center girls that have been there for years, some who helped the old manager that would be better suited for the job and likely they all know how to improve the call center. -They also outside hired at least one regional office manager in 2022 which again does not make sense to me when there is office staff that have been here for years that would be better suited. You already have people that understand how these things work and have had to be on the bottom of the food chain doing the job these outside hires are now supervising, they are your best chances of success. -Customer communication is nearly none, call center cannot really do anything they are essentially messengers that send whatever the customer said to whoever handles it. Something has to give, call center needs to be able to do more and sales, management, etc. needs to be improved so call center agents can stop being verbally harassed by your customers. It's also embarrassing when a customer calls in and you have taken their call over and over with the same issue and it STILL has not been resolved by whoever is supposed to be resolving it.
