Pros
When I first began at Home Genius back in January 2019, the team was extremely welcoming, as each member was willing to answer any questions or concerns I had. Ralph and Brock (both marketing team members) continued to share with me various techniques that helped them strengthen their skills within their positions.
Max Alesi, Vice President of HGE, is an extremely knowledgeable individual who puts his all into this company and his work. He sat down with me several times, one-on-one as well as in groups, to discuss professional development within the company and life in general. These conversations proved to be very beneficial, as the meetings allowed me to gain a deeper understanding into company policies and procedures, further increasing my productivity.
As I majored in Psychology and Criminal Justice, I would have never imagined that I would have ended up working in a marketing position. While I was only with HGE for a short period of time before I moved to Connecticut, I was surprised as to how many life and transferable skills were strengthened during my time with HGE. The most noteworthy were time management and communication.
Cons
The company was experiencing a lot of changes when I first began, but soon after, things began to calm down and become more consistent.
