Pros

Flexible schedule and friendly associates.

Cons

Management does not communicate with one another or other associates. Store management does not communicate needs to corporate level management and when they do corporate does not listen. Employees are given far too many tasks and hard working employees are expected to make up for the incompetence of the lazy ones. Low pay with awful raise schedule. Management makes even simple tasks out to be a large challenge and spends more time complaining and planning rather than just getting it done.

Pay is terrible.

Pros

The best thing about working for this company is that you are paid weekly and it's usually not a problem to request days off.

Cons

The pay is obscene. You work your butt off and is expected to do even more. There is the constant push to open up credit cards with customers. No benefit to the associate, but probably big perks for mgmt.

Pros

If you truly love customer service then this is the job for you, otherwise you'll be frustrated. Most managers are nice and fair. They will train you or speak from a position of positive leadership and expectation. They also attempt to encourage good performance through games, Star rewards program & personal rewards like Starbucks. The work can be intensely physical, and the expectations are high but mostly in a good way because you feel accomplished when you complete your projects.

Cons

Like any job, sometimes the management really doesn't have the proper training to be a good manager or lead staff. It's easy to criticize or strike someone down because they haven't met expectation, but much more challenging to lead someone to success through example,by providing proper training and actual leadership. Move fast, walk fast, service the customer fast. This is a good and bad thing. I think before I do, but if you can run on fumes and process without thinking you're in good form and in the right place.
