Pros

Starting pay not too bad, $9.00 an hour. Was told it was part-time 24-32 hours a week. Happy with the training and pace

Cons

After being employed just 4 weeks my hours were cut to 16 hours a week. Week 7cut to 8 hours a week. The 8 hours lasted for just 2 weeks before it was cut to 4 hours a week. After a month of 4 hours a week I was laid off. The store is not doing well. During Christmas there were so few cashiers that customers were just walking out.

Pros

The only good reason to work at Home Goods is for the discount at my particular store it is a very unhappy place to work

Cons

The management of this particular story does not care about their employees they also do not care about their needs in the workplace
