Pros

My position was a desk job so I learned alot about the computer.

Cons

They do not promote from within nor are you trained properly. I was being micromanaged by the regional admin. which resulted in not being able to sleep. The store mgrs oversee the store however the store is really operated by the ASMs and coordinators. Physically some of the jobs are hard for woman. Customers treat you badly and you are supposed to smile and take it in fear of a customer claimpant. If you go to mgmt with a issue, they will not help. Even HR is useless. The regional admin. runs the show and no one speaks up not even the DM's or HR.

Pros

They provide plenty of hours to people who do their jobs/want hours. If you are a coordinator you get paid vacation, medical benefits (which I have heard are quite good ones despite not having used them yet), and a 401K plan.

Cons

Inflexible Scheduling - Merchandise coordinators are technically required to have open availability (although this rule is not always enforced.) Schedules are posted three days before the next week at the earliest. (While employees are expected the usual 2 weeks advanced notice for requests off.) Minimum Wage starting wages (for part time positions) There is little to no training for most positions. The Store is consistently under staffed. They are not good at getting rid of lazy employees.
