Pros

•Decent salary (up to 90k in New Jersey) •Weekly paycheck •Small budget for hourly employees fill the snack rack program

Cons

•Start rate for hourly employees is minimum wage which makes it extremely difficult to hire in central Jersey and helps fuel high turnover •Payroll is tracked by dollars and hours •Extremely difficult to document poor performers (hourly role) •Trucks are a nightmare, assembly required for about 10-20% of products •You will be micromanaged •Company systems and programs are outdated •Many conference calls every week and most require ASMs and SMs to join •Many unachievable goals for stores •District managers and above are out of touch with daily business challenges •Merchandise Presentation Guide is like a dictionary

Pros

Good hours, decent pay, direct deposit

Cons

No support from supervisors in receiving . Constantly set's you up to fail. Places you with employees with language barrier, No training on proper paperwork, the whole flow of product needs a overhaul. You constantly wait on pallets (empty) or for pallets to be removed (full) by the bulk drivers. Alot of employees tend to wander around riding the clock causing your job to be at a stand still. Supervisors are always on computer and not paying attention. And instead of fixing the problem it rides on.
