Pros

Love the customers and the merchandise! With this work, busy is the word! You always are involved in all the different roles from customer service, to back room processing, merchandising and stocking displays. You do it all for a very little pay. I clean the bathrooms and sweep the floors because we don't have a custodial person or cleaning company in our store. In a 5hour part time shift. I walk more than 6 miles sometimes it can be as high as 9 miles in 5 hrs. The store is understaffed with some poor employee moral. There is no back room staff. Be prepared to process the truck deliveries. Empty tanks, merchandise and run back and forth to the registers like a ping-pong ball! Oh and the shared bathrooms with the customers is the grossest! Topped off by a filthy employee lounge. Communication from management is also not very good. There is not enough follow up between managers and employees.

Pros

Benefits, medical dental vision , vacation

Cons

Constant inconsistency in job duties, harassment from upper management daily, no positive feedback ever, nothing is ever good enough. If you accomplish your tasks as requested/outlined, upper management finds something daily to demean, degrade deflate your moral Company/district attrition rate will speak to this
