Made some great friends. Actually a great place to work 2013 -Mid 2017

Cons

Management constantly changing. Poor Management. (Hiring racist bullies 2017-Present) Last Minute rotas. (2 days notice if lucky)

Pros

Good pay, staff pension scheme

Cons

Poor management, not enough equipment, understaffed a lot, expected to carry heavy furniture, hard to change a shift and expected to find your own cover, have to stay a long time after closing especially at Christmas time. Don’t take into account part time/younger employees still are in education and don’t respect the balance of work and school/college

Pros

Pay is higher than the average retailer.

Cons

Had lots of responsibilities with no proper guidance. Also, the manager would not let us go home until she was satisfied with the state of the store. This meant that during the busy Christmas period we would all have to stay up to 2 hours after our shift ended.
