You are expected to make 60-80 cold calls per day. It doesn't matter if you have 3-4 demos on that day, the expectations remain the same. I inherited accounts from past reps that were are very unhappy with the product because they were sold incorrectly and not taken care of. I am now penalized out of my paycheck because these people want to cancel their membership, without even having spoken to them one time in my life. This product does not work for a lot of agents we sell to. A lot of agents have a very bad taste in their mouth about Homes.com, so it makes it difficult to ask them to pay $1,000 +/mo on a product that 5 other agents told them to stay away from/don't waste their money. I feel like a machine every day I go in there, I hardly ever take a lunch because we have so much to do. More than half of the sales associates do not hit quota, so do not go in thinking it is easy to do. It is very easy to start feeling negative when you see the same people over and over again closing huge deals when you are doing the same exact presentation as they are. You very easily sink or swim in this position. If you are not closing sales and making additional money, it is not a fun job. I'd rather work somewhere else for less money and keep my sanity. To make 70 calls a day and not see success from it starts to really make you miserable. If you take this job, you must prepare yourself for all of this. Oh, and if you don't live in the city of Richmond, have fun with the commute. The traffic is bad every morning and evening- turns a 20 min drive to 40 easily.
