Pros

There are no pros to working here.

Cons

The managment is against veterans; and have activly seeked ways to lay off veterans. Managment has no diversity and will only hire white educated males. Managment is very liberal; and will become agressive if you don't agree with their political point of view.

As a company, we generally consider reviews on sites like Glassdoor to be valuable sources of feedback and opportunities for us to grow and improve as a company. But I have to admit that this review is very confusing. Our company is headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, and we have a large sales office in San Diego, California. These cities are home to two of the largest U.S. Naval bases in the world. We live and work with many military families and veterans. These are our friends, co-workers, teachers, coaches, and neighbors. We are VERY proud of our military, and we are proud to employee a number of veterans across our company. So to hear management described as "against veterans" could not be further from the truth, both broadly speaking, and for me personally. In fact, my brother, Colonel Paul Mele, is active duty in the U.S. Army, and just returned from deployment in Afghanistan several weeks ago. I could not be more proud of him--and all who serve or have served in our armed forces. I want to state very emphatically that Homes.com is committed to the employment of veterans, and we are incredibly proud and supportive of our active-duty military, veterans and their families. And the description of management having no diversity and only hiring white males is simply not accurate, particularly in our San Diego office. Of the five senior leaders in our San Diego office, only one is a white male, and two are women. This team is proudly comprised of multiple ethnicities and backgrounds. And we know that this diversity makes us a better and stronger team. Homes.com is committed to creating a transparent and collaborative work environment, and we encourage employees to please take advantage of our open door policy to raise any concerns directly to their manager, or any other leader in our company. -David Mele, President, Homes.com

Pros

Salary Plus Commission. Great Benefits. Incredible work to life balance, especially for a sales and marketing position. Two weeks of paid vacation after only 3 months. Great Management. Great company culture. I really do like working here. If you can sell it's a good life. We have one Rep 3 years out of college making over 100k a year working less than 40 hours a week. We never work more than 40 hours a week.

Cons

If your not self motivated and willing to work hard then this isn't the place for you.
