Pros

*Great clients to care for! *Hours to work are great! I have never been pressured to work weekends. *friendly staff in person and on the phone

Cons

*When clients no longer need care it’s hard finding fulltime work. *the schedulers can get alittle aggressive with last minute work needing to be covered when you tell them over and over you can’t help for that day. The pay could be higher since the company charges a lot for care (the clients complain how expensive it is all the time)

We’re sorry to read about your experience. Regarding your frustration with work/life balance. Yes, it’s a constant challenge, for individuals and companies alike. And the truth is, there will be occasions when we’re putting in extra hours to meet an important deadline or cover a staffing shortage. But it shouldn’t always be like that. To that end, we’ve been hiring more people and implementing managerial training to help leaders lead in a way that better integrates their teams’ personal time. We value career pathing at Honor. In support of that we launched "Continuing the Conversation" and encourage you to connect with your manager in a meaningful way to discuss your current role, where you are interested in driving your career in the future and what development you need to get there. Check out the Performance Development page on our intranet to access resources to guide the conversation.
