We’re sorry to read about your experience. Regarding your frustration with work/life balance. Yes, it’s a constant challenge, for individuals and companies alike. And the truth is, there will be occasions when we’re putting in extra hours to meet an important deadline or cover a staffing shortage. But it shouldn’t always be like that. To that end, we’ve been hiring more people and implementing managerial training to help leaders lead in a way that better integrates their teams’ personal time. We value career pathing at Honor. In support of that we launched "Continuing the Conversation" and encourage you to connect with your manager in a meaningful way to discuss your current role, where you are interested in driving your career in the future and what development you need to get there. Check out the Performance Development page on our intranet to access resources to guide the conversation.

We’re sorry to read about your experience as a Care Pro. We take input from our employees—past and present—seriously, and invite you to reach out to us personally at 415-300-1347 to discuss your experience. Regarding client disrespect, as you know, many aging adults experience varying degrees of dementia, and that can cause them to behave in ways that can be disrespectful. We always encourage our Care Pros to immediately report any such instances to our Care Team so we can address the situation. At Honor, we aim to care for our Care Pros, so they can provide the best care for our clients. We wish you all the best and all the respect you deserve in your future work.

Thank you for your review! We are glad that you are happy with our decision to remain remote first as a company and that our efforts in inclusion and mental health have made a positive impact. We also appreciate your feedback about recognition. No matter where we are in our career, recognition for good work is important to all of us. At Honor, we see how much of themselves our employees put into their work. And the quality of that work humbles us. While we make it a point to show our appreciation in several ways, such as the Shoutouts channel on Slack, the monthly Honor Roll awards, and appreciation bonuses for our field ops team in recognition of their COVID response, we will continue to explore more ways to make employees feel seen and valued. Thank you again for your feedback!
