Paid training at one’s own pace

Cons

Very little help when starting out. Once you get your certification they set you free to help kids and expect you to get everything done. If you are full time they will have you there from 8:15 to 6pm. Barely get breaks, will get into trouble for bad weather. You will feel lost

We have an AMAZING CM who works with you on scheduling and is very supportive. The BCBA’s are AWESOME and also very supportive and knowledgeable. They are always willing to help and help you grow.

Cons

The pay could be a LOT better for the work we do.

Pros

Great training and support for new RBTs, a collaborative team atmosphere, and supervisors who genuinely want you to grow. The kids make every day meaningful, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn and develop your skills.

Cons

The work can be physically and emotionally demanding, and the schedule can feel fast-paced at times. Communication between departments could be more consistent, but it has been improving. Also, while the work is meaningful, the pay could better reflect the complexity and emotional toll of the job. Adjusting compensation to match industry expectations would greatly benefit employees.
