Pros

Workplace Culture: With a longstanding tenure among employees, the company fosters a respectful and collegial environment. Mentorship & Accessibility: Employees have the freedom to connect with colleagues across business segments for guidance and support. Fair Compensation: Salaries are determined based on an individual’s background, experience, skills, and the value they contribute to the organization (tip- add value and speak up)

Cons

Leadership Gaps: Many people managers lack essential management skills, often exhibiting a rigid, top-down approach that discourages diverse perspectives and collaboration. Siloed Operations: Limited cross-functional communication among business units leads to frequent misalignment and miscommunication. Talent Development Deficiency: The organization lacks structured learning and professional development opportunities, with no clear vision for nurturing and investing in future leaders.

Pros

Large company, plenty of opportunities to advance past your entry level position. Also good benefits/insurance, and fairly competitive PTO package with good pay.

Cons

Can be a very high pressure environment. Hours can be long.
