Business Outlook
Pros
HCC has a very welcoming and friendly campus support system. There is even a free six month through 12 year child drop off for students during their classes at some locations. There are also a lot of supportive school programs going on all the time, and a lot of community engagement.
Cons
Sometimes classes don’t make and, as an adjunct, we are at the bottom of the totem pole. If our classes make, but a full-time faculty class does not make, the full-time faculty will get our class. There are no benefits for agent professors. No healthcare, no retirement, no days off.
