Pay was decent but the stress was not worth it

The superintendent take over was a nightmare; there was no support and no guidance. Too much workplace politics

Pros

The only thing I like about HISD is that there’s multiple hiring fairs to give folks a chance to find a job.

Cons

There’s a lot of inconsistencies within HISD. One minute they want low graded schools to follow a NES model with limited resources. And now they are saying they want even the high performing school to follow the model. Which is complete B.S. Also, their goal is for staff to work 10 hour shift with the same pay.
