      Pros

      -The district pays well for education positions. -Professional development opportunities are readily available to both new and experienced teachers. -Generally, the ability to take sick or personal days is flexible.

      Cons

      -The district is too large to have consistency in practices. -The school district, superintendent, and other administration are so consumed with playing politics that the students suffer.

      My experiences were great until Dr. Grier came in 2009.

      Pros

      I like working with the students. The time off is nice. I like my co-workers including my principal.

      Cons

      I don't like how teachers were being forced to resign or retire. I don't like that principal I had in 2010-2011 wrote up almost the entire staff for the most frivolous of reasons.
