Pros

Good pay, benefits are amazing, PTO starts at 3 weeks per year.

Cons

You work to earn your PTO but then my department was supposed to end and when I gave my notice that I would leave 4 weeks before my job ended, they refused to pay me 56 hours of PTO that amounted to $1173. Also, they cut your insurance off the last day of the pay period you work. Most companies cut it off at the end of the month. This left me strapped for almost $500 between an urgent care bill and prescriptions to fill.

Pros

Maybe other campuses are different, but there are no pros at The Woodlands.

Cons

The Woodlands campus is poorly run from the top down. Administration and management preach ICARE values to the employees without actually practicing themselves. - Lowest paid hospital in the surrounding area. - Type of experience not taken into consideration when deciding compensation. - Extreme pay inequalities remain unaddressed by management and HR. - "Runs lean" aka expected to do 4-5 different jobs while getting compensated for 1 - Expectations and schedules constantly changing to meet the needs of the hospital without regard for work-life balance. - Nepotism and favoritism is how employees are recognized and promoted.
