Pros

Good starting job in the industry, make a lot of friends as its a big company. Christmas bonus was good, and they used to be flexible on WFH options.

Cons

Don't learn a lot of information to grow a career, stuck in a box ,don't ask questions type of situation. Underpaid in comparisons to other company's in the same industry. Technicians are massively disregarded and overlooked, people higher up the chain have no respect for them.

Working Saturdays can get tedious

Thank-you for leaving feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoy working at A-Plan and you are able to progress your career through our training programmes. Unfortunately, as a high street Broker we need to open when our clients are likely to need us. This means working Saturday mornings, however this is usually on a rota basis and you will get your time back during the week.

Pros

The people are amazing, the culture is fantastic, the CEO is very visible and incredibly down to earth which drives a really nice culture internally.

Cons

The manager of the Private Client team is manipulative and very unprofessional. She's a self confessed control freak and if you disagree with anything, she makes your life incredibly unpleasant. She has her favourites and if you're not in that category, regardless of your standard of work, she makes the role really unpleasant. Would recommend avoiding that team at all cost.
