Pros
The work itself is very interesting. You are always learning something new and get to work with many other people (other departments, shop floor operators, managers, customers).
Cons
Very difficult to get a pay raise. The engineering group is not very diverse and the plant could use a refresher on diversity training. Covid has also severely impacted the industry.
