      Pros

      Huawei is a phenomenon, and has become a force to be reckoned with in Telecommunications software. In the past years it is trying to break into the western telecoms market, and has been successful up to a point. One of the best reasons to work for Huawei is the opportunity to work in a completely different culture, a huge company and utter chaos.

      Cons

      Huawei as a company is in fact 2 companies: there is the company you'll be hired into, and then there is the Chinese company where the real decisions are made, where the real information is and where people have a career and therefore a reason to work for the company...

      1. Technical Learning is Very Good. 2. Great place to join as a fresher 3. Gets the Best out of You, Pushes you to your limits 4. Good Pay Master 5. Lot of Leaves and extended leaves 6. Excellent Place for Workaholics

      Cons

      1. No Long Term Business Planning, Only Short Term Immediate Releases 2. Forever Fire Fighting & No proper Plan of Execution ( Informally Follows Nike's Logo - Just Do It ) 3. Lot of new Initiatives, without judging the effectiveness of earlier initiatives. 4. Mammoth Loss of Effort in terms of Rework / Discarded Deliverable 5. No Career Planning of Employees. Employees are considered as resources & not assets. 6. Politics, instead of Results, for Sustenance 7. Unclear Role Definitions & Responsibilities at Senior Levels. 8. Works in Master Slave Mode.

      1) Pace of a startup, very customer oriented 2) very stable company, doing financially very well. 3) Above avg paymaster 4) good learning curve

      Cons

      1) Dont see many great people around, you can look up to 2) customer first, employee last (may vary from dept to dept) 3) no campus, long time due 4) no onsite 5) no learning/training/grooming opportunities 6) very weak HR dept, not sure what they do here. this is a big weakness.
