Great product and team. Enjoy going to work every day. Great product to sell that is highly competitive

Cons

No career growth opportunities anymore. Dumb metrics in which they promote by.

Love that you love our product and that you love coming to work every day, but bummed to hear about the career growth frustration and the sentiment that reps feel we are out of touch--if you have suggestions there would love to hear them, will pass this along to Hunter and to the team as well so they are in the loop on your concerns. -Katie

Pros

It's a nice office space, with some really great people. Most are excited to be there and there is opportunity to advance your career if you're willing to put in the hours

Cons

I had a hard time making HubSpot my whole life. I felt like I had to in order to be accepted by my coworkers. Work life balance is not working from 8 - 5, and then telling your team that it's family time from 5:30 - 7:30, but then you're available. When you have managers saying these things, it puts too much pressure on employees to be just as readily available, 24/7.

Thanks for spending some time with us at HubSpot, delighted you did. Sorry to hear that you felt pressure around work-life balance--one of our goals is to be a destination for working parents, so hopefully we have improved since you left, but we can always continue to learn and grow there--thanks for the feedback and the review, and for being a HubSpot alum. Sincerely, Katie

Pros

People. Most amazing talented people I've ever had the chance to work with. Fun environment.

Cons

Most departments are run by young people, when older folks come to talk about their needs they are mostly not taken seriously. Some inappropriate behavior/comments/suggestions from management can be seen when alcohol is involved. Sometimes it feels like the company is trying to hard to look like a grown-up company but the actions to achieve that are not quiet right.

I agree with the talent of people and with the value of current employee feedback, but I'm really saddened by your feedback around feedback and suggestions and around drinking, specifically anyone being asked to keep who they are on the low, that's the exact opposite of the type of authenticity and inclusivity we are trying to build here. If you're up for chatting in person, would welcome the opportunity to do so--thanks as always for the feedback to help us improve as we grow. -Katie
