Pros

Flexible work schedule and options

Cons

HubSpot has been steadily declining year over year. Employee morale is at an all-time low, with benefits being scaled back and cutbacks happening across the board. They've also been quietly laying people off for 'performance,' but what's worse is that they repost those jobs with no intention of actually hiring anyone, just to make it look like the company is growing.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Two things we’d love to respond to: Benefit Changes Recent benefit changes were made to ensure market competitiveness and maximize the value of our programs within an allocated budget. While benefits will evolve over time, we prioritize the employee experience and make these trade offs and decisions carefully. Any benefit that has changed or been scaled back has been in order to add or improve an additional employee benefit. “Layoffs” HubSpot manages performance with utmost integrity and appropriate process. Like any company, we do expect all HubSpotters perform the expectations of your role, and naturally some people will leave due to performance reasons. We can assure anybody reading this that any open role on our careers site is real, and that HubSpot continues to grow! -The People Team

Pros

1. Money is insane if you are in certain product roles 2. Some very smart people still work here, just more have left.

Cons

Been here 8+ years, since CEO change management has slowly pushed into a more toxic Amazon style org with petty politics and stack rankings. Vacation benefits are so badly misrepresented it’s crazy. Hard limits on unlimited PTO with enough red tape you’ll be lucky in US to ever get even two weeks vacation unless you are super senior.

Pros

Product is solid, but thats about it. There are some great people that work here, but they're all leaving.

Cons

I was super pumped to accept my job offer from Hubspot. However, my excitement turned into disappointment very quickly. You will grind, and you will sweat, and you will lose sleep just to barely survive here. I saw these reviews before I started at Hubspot and gave the company the benefit of the doubt. It did not take long to figure it out. Believe the reviews. Best of luck to you.
