Pros

After the corporation purchased our company, they made short work of eliminating all the pros

Cons

Corporate came and destroyed us A typical day at work is never being good enough, constantly fearing a negative comment from management, micromanaged tasks, poor management makes the customers go away, they were more focused on inventory dollars than customer satisfaction, they were more focused on quantity than quality. 1.No sick time 2.Progressive point system for termination 3. Unhelpful HR at 110 4. Safety an after thought, they drove a decent safety manager away by scolding him for not fixing things they refused to pay to fix. They are mandated by law to have a safety team that meets and they cancel the meetings and never do anything that the safety team suggests, 5. The lead a man on well after the Temp period was over and only let him go once he asked when they planned to hire him. 6. They are mandated in my state to have a written employee handbook, they claim they do not need to have one and never clarify a reason. They amend the rules in the non printed handbook at their own digression, what was allowable on Friday might not be allowable on a Monday. 7. The company tries to make its top managetrs look better by a process of inventory dollars, an amount of money that they have on hand that isn't product or raw material. This destroyed the 3 day turn around that the previous company was able to promise it's customers, and with that they not only could no longer get product with in three days, but were lucky to get product to customers in 3 weeks. 8. They care nothing for morale or employee retention 9. The HR spits corporate talking points in employee faces with a sickening smile, they almost seem to enjoy giving employees bad news. 10. Never promote from within, they will however give employees more responsibility with no compensation, and champion practices where a machine operator will have to man more than one machine for the same pay, they claim that it is efficiency, but it is just clearly wage theft. 11. They went to a Biweekly pay system for their own ease, this made budgeting less pleasant, they also went with Wellsfargo right in the midst of the Wellsfargo scandals. 12. They offer no help with Short term or long term disability, they did not inform people with medical conditions that FMLA was in existence while having a 9 point system that caused termination even with Doctors notes. (Doctors notes no longer gave points after 1/1/2018) 13. They have little to no proper training and ask that you learn multiple jobs, learning and preforming these jobs on top of all your previous jobs earns you little to no benefit.
