      A good place to work for the most part.

      Pros

      If you are in management, you have a good deal of autonomy. Depending on where you are located there may be flexible scheduling. Benefits are good but getting more expensive like everywhere else. The company is really growing; many acquisitions. I've been able to hone my skill set for the 9 years I have worked for Hubbell.

      Cons

      If things change in your department, the answer is usually you end up working more hours with little appreciation. This is a very top heavy company and top management seems out of touch with the thousands of employees who put the dollars on the bottom line. Also very much a'Good Ole Boys' club. The change in CEO did not change that.

      All the good workers are gone

      Cons

      Not the best place to work anymore. not sure what direction the company is going in, but it does not look very good, and you can see and feel the pressure coming from upper management. Managers need ethical training they are all for themselves. There is no empathy display coming from these managers and they don't know half the things their direct reports do on a daily basis. They find every reason to not give you a salary increase come time for review time.

      Cons

      Management has their favorite people. Favorite people work outside jobs during employment Hubbell Management, Favorite people speak negative and blame management, customers and coworkers under when they are caught making errors. Gas light retaliation from upper level employees if you disagree with favorite people. Management has their eyes shut to any wrong that their favorite people do,
