Pros

Great start of the career opportunities. Awesome experience for juniors or interns.

Cons

Communication, both internally and with other external partners could definitely be improved. If you are a senior person, brought in to contribute with your knowledge, you will not get enough freedom to implement your ideas.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review! It is very helpful and we definitely take this into account. We have learned and changed a lot last year and feel free to hop over to see the result and enjoy a drink.

Pros

International exposure through Protolabs (US) Some colleagues are friendly and supportive Flexible hours (for those who prefer it)

Cons

-Bram de Zwart and Alexandra Cappy are not working at this company for years. -Unpleasant office environment: poor-quality open space, no quiet areas; open kitchen causes food smells from 8 am; limited seating at lunch, some employees eat on their laps. - Inadequate meeting facilities: only 2–3 rooms for groups; one-person booths are poorly ventilated and uncomfortable. - Disorganized work structure: everything done asynchronously in Notion, making alignment very difficult; developers arrive at random times, slowing collaboration. - Unfavorable hours: regular late meetings (after 5 pm CET) due to >7‑hour time difference with the US. - Weak development standards: mostly junior developers from restricted-internet countries; limited experience, low expectations, and little accountability. - No cross-functional collaboration: teams operate in silos; roadmap fully dependent on Protolabs with little autonomy. -Lack of leadership: management avoids decision-making and has poor technical knowledge. -Excessively long hiring process: 6 stages, 9 interviewers — and key job details (like working late evenings due to US time zones) not disclosed.
