Finance going downhill

Pros

Hudl supports flexibility, has good benefits, free lunch, unlimited vacation, sabbatical and anniversary gifts

Cons

Our finance leadership is slowly breaking people and teams one at a time. Being harassed, yelled at, belittled, ostracized, called out in front of others, is the leadership style that comes naturally to our leader. Expecting people to show up to meetings any time of the day, criticizing people in open forums, turning people on each other and only recruiting mini versions of themselves from the same yahoo background, zero diversity of thought and if you factual questions or concern are raised, prepare to be immediately humiliated. Our value of Play to Win will no longer exist in months, one on ones are ignored, slacks that are extremely unprofessional, abusive and of a harassing nature. Prepare to be treated like a child and harassed whenever they dont get their way.

Hudl Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your candid feedback. We’re glad to hear that you value the flexibility, benefits, and other perks that are part of the Hudl experience. However, we're very concerned by the experience you've described within your team. The behaviors you’ve outlined stand in direct opposition to our values and the environment we are committed to building. As you noted, "Respectfully Blunt" requires feedback to be delivered with care, and "Win Together" means we are people first and take care of each other. Success can only happen in a culture where every person feels respected, supported, and empowered to thrive. The environment you described undermines that completely. We take this feedback seriously and have shared it with our People team. We strongly encourage you to connect directly with your HRBP to discuss this further in a confidential setting. Listening to our teammates is the only way we can address these issues and ensure our leaders live up to the standards we set for ourselves. Thank you again for your courage in raising these concerns. We are committed to making Hudl a place where everyone is proud to work.

low wages, high daily workloads, seasonal work, no vacation pay, salaries haven't increased for several years and there's almost no opportunity for career advancement.
