Not a good time

Pros

* There are some really great employees on the team who are a joy to be around when the office is open. * Catered lunches twice a month. * The product is best-in-class.

Cons

* Even though the company recently said publicly that they've pledged to not have layoffs in 2020, many people have been laid off over the past few months... Some with little to no warning. We need to be honest about this. * 2020 has been rough for the business. Goals and targets are consistently not being met... Causing frequent changes to how teams operate. * There doesn't appear to be much room for internal growth for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Benefits are decent. Uses leading edge technologies and processes. Company is very much willing to spend the money on software & services that lead to meaningful efficiencies.

Cons

Environment is cutthroat. Far more so than most corporate environments. People aren't nice at all. Management can sometimes be immature and lacking in empathy and some are downright narcissistic and demeaning. There are lot of coverups and half-truths, and sometimes outright lies. The deadlines are hardcore and demanding.

Huge Mistake

Pros

good health insurance, $100 monthly WFH reimbursement

Cons

- management is drastically underqualified - product does not work and management does not prioritize fixing it - nonexistent internal workflow to resolve customer issues - customers and employees are miserable due to the product not working --> massive employee turnover and increasing number of customer escalations This company is a sinking ship. It doesn't seem possible that Human Interest will be able to solve its problems before they have to close down permanently. Do not work here.
