Pros

helping people save for retirement.

Cons

where to start? they overcharge participants. engineering is expected to fix years of crappy platform investment overnight in the middle of a pricing update so the CEO can keep telling investors the product is "automated". culture is the worst case of "kiss up kick down" I've ever seen. CEO shows up once a quarter to deliver scripted remarks on performance, never once thanking people for their effort or sacrifices. executives make jokes about doing drugs. the head of sales is so toxic he must have dirt on the CEO since he can't be fired no matter how bad he performs or behaves. layoffs happen repeatedly and are swept under the rug, and leadership wonders why no one trusts them. leaders apparently asks people to post positive reviews, why else are there all these five start reviews that sound like someone ran them through Chat GPT? Run the other direction.

Pros

Good benefits Earnings potential is good for a start up Great marketing team behind the product and story

Cons

CRO is way out of their league in terms of running a sales organization. Horrible commitment to a mature and respectful culture. No committment to customer service. No industry training or development practices in place. Hire way too many people with no industry experience. Leadership does not hold themselves accountable Unethical and immoral leadership.

Pros

The company itself has a promising business outlook, the pay is decent, and the HR department is very nice. Just don't expect a fun time working in the engineering department.

Cons

The engineering department used to be run by caring leaders.. but now most of them have left. The new leadership is ruthless and cut throat. They're trying to run this start up as if it were Amazon, and expecting people to be going above and beyond everyday, like they need to prove themselves. So if you join them, get ready for an ultra competitive and chaotic environment. Also, don't expect a salary adjustment unless you're one of the top performers. Everyone else gets a "try harder" message.
