Pros

Everyone has their own space and is trusted to do their own work with nobody looking over their shoulder.

Cons

A lot of people take advantage of the laid-back management by not pulling their weight.

Pros

The benefits they offer are nice: good health insurance, there's a work out area, they offer various health classes, they have a courtyard with a basketball court, and the onsite cafeteria is nice.

Cons

There was a lot of back stabbing in this company, but I think the thing I disliked the most was their distrust of employees. There was a wide range of distrust, and I understand that the HR department was at one point instructed to spy on employees. Upper management never gave the impression of having faith in any of the lower level employees and the overall atmosphere was tense. I've known MANY employees (both former and current) who were written up for something either made up or taken out of context and I believe they used this as a scare tactic to keep employees in line. While there, I saw multiple employees get forced out of the company because one person (usually the same person) didn't like them and made it a mission to remove them from the company.

Pros

Lot's of opportunites to learn and grow. We know all of the numbers from sales to expenses so have a good handle on how well the company is doing. Lot's of autonomy and room to change the way things are done. Recognition of a job well done is frequent. And did I say anything about the work/life balance, subsidized cafeteris, fitness facility, and basketball court? Best place in Champaign, IL to work - by far.

Cons

Every work place has con's. They sometimes water the grass too much and the food in the cafeteria doesn't please everyone everytime.
