Pros

Good products, well placed manufacturing system, and efficient machine and equipment. Beautiful lake and park near by.

Cons

No diversity. All workers are Hispanic and some don't even speak English. You are looked down upon if you are not of Hispanic race, regardless of above and beyond performance. I have 10+ years manufacturing experience and was let go in favor of a Hispanic where this was his very 1st manufacturing job.

Thank you for the feedback*. Skills, experience and cultural fit for the organization are the only factors considered when making a hiring decision. We're proud of our employees, our products and our community; all of which are quite diverse. Our workforce is comprised of a nearly 50/50 split between minorities and non-minorities. More workplace demographics can be found in the review of Hunter Industries written by Great Place to Work: http://reviews.greatplacetowork.com/hunter-industries. *Based on the short tenure mentioned in this review, compared to our average of 14 years, it's possible that the reviewer was actually not an employee of Hunter Industries but rather a temporary employee from our contingent workforce provider.

Thank you for the review! We're happy to hear that you're enjoying your experience as an Intern with us. Each year we hire a cohort of Interns to join our teams in a variety of departments. The 3 month program begins in June each summer and our projects are truly an extension of the classroom offering students real work experience in a department that is aligned with the student's coursework. Thanks, again, for the review and for your contributions to Hunter Industries.

Pros

Profit Sharing and decent co-workers. great pay. Friendliest place I have ever worked. When I first started I thought people were kinda faking it, but people are actually happy at work...strange... Work was not extremely difficult. On site gym

Cons

Upward mobility took sometime, but if you hang in there and get to know a few people outside of the box that you work in other opportunities are available.
