Pros

The insurance that Hunting offers is top notch. There is plenty of overtime if you want it when there is work. They offer your PTO upfront and are lenient with time off and working with your schedule.

Cons

401k isn’t available to new hires until one year. There doesn’t seem like there is much room for growth or promotions but you will learn a lot. Might be a good stepping stone to get some experience under your belt. The shop is heavily driven on meeting numbers and management can be extremely on machinist.

Great people, poor management - subject to “good ole boy” system

Pros

There are some good people that work in the factories, and other segments. Have backing from the UK.

Cons

Subject to the “good ole boy” culture, if you didn’t go to Pampa High, you’re SOL. The manufacturing management are too busy chasing things elsewhere to be present and manage. The PLM’s (now being called “champions”) are a joke. They couldn’t even be champions in the special olympics. They don’t manage production capabilities well, and have pigeon-holed us as a company with unreliable parts on some systems, and are some of the laziest people to walk through the doors. But management treats them like gold. Nobody else can understand why.... The management doesn’t care about us at all. Evidently, there will not be any merit raises or bonuses. So, what’s the point? Can’t get updated so production numbers are low and can’t suplly demand, but there is always someone wanting more from us. The guys in Houston are snakes. Can’t direct or manage. No support, just poor excuses, but “we want more from you”, even though they can’t hold up their end. Titan is a company that is rapidly losing market share to companies who can meet demand, and who have more experienced people. There is no future for advancement here unless you’re a sycophant from Pampa High back in the 80’s.

Pros

Good health insurance, some supervisors were ok. They pay for your college tuition. Pay is average could be more for as large of a company as they are. Nice machines just wish they would use them to their full potential.

Cons

Your an “operator” your opinion doesn’t mean much at the hunting Fryeburg plant. There management needs improvement. You have to be related to someone to go anywhere in the company or be a ‘Dearborn’ legacy.
