Pros

Huntington prides themselves on being people-first, and this does come across in a lot of things they do: community outreach, business resource groups for employees, great branding, not only preaching but also practicing inclusivity and diversity. Last but definitely not least, my immediate team members are awesome, including the middle management we report to.

Cons

Strong talent isn't always appreciated, especially for folks in roles beneath executive leadership. Timing has to align in order to receive a decent salary bump with promotions (i.e., not only does the bank have to be performing well in that particular year, but also executives have to choose to translate that revenue into raises and bonuses). Otherwise, you'll be extremely limited in salary growth. Sometimes this means that folks with decent tenure (5, 10, 15+ years) are not paid even market average for their roles.

Pros

Fosters a welcoming community, development opportunities, and good benefits.

Cons

Moving to a hybrid model instead of staying remote. Overall base pay scale seems low.
