A good cruiser, but with no direction - Not a bad place to gain some experience
Pros
* Safety of the employees is a top priority, from top to bottom. And is not only a slogan, is true. * There is (in general) a good atmosphere to work, and management tries to keep it that way. You can find bad apples, but like everywhere in the world. * The EU headquarters are a very nice place. In-house canteen and a pleasure to go for a walk in spring / summer.
Cons
* Very very cheap company. C-level management is allergic to organic investment, they prefer to buy and sell. Fair, but if you literally are not willing to invest in chemical plants being a chemical company, things will not end up well. * Ultra short-term strategy. There is a long term plan, but there is no cash to implement. R&D is seen as a PR stunt, not as a real business department. * Very below average pay and benefits.
