Senior management only last 1 - 2 years before leaving. Current senior management are unwilling to listen to staff who have experience and instead force in new procedures which often fail. My work environment was the worse I have ever experienced. My work station was used by other members of staff who worked nights in production often leaving my chair dirty. My concerns always fell on deaf ears. Despite my experience and excellent working knowledge of the plant, in the last two years I wasn't once included in any decision making and my suggestions were never taken seriously. It made me feel under valued and de-motivated which is why I left. I'm glad to say that my new company is the complete opposite to Huntsman and I am treated like a valued member of staff.

Integration of a newly acquired company was horrible. Announcement that nearly 200 people were to be released but details would be coming in 3 months, then it was 6 months ... then they wondered why safety performance dropped when employees didn't know what their status was for almost a year. Then released a huge number of individual with a wealth of business knowledge and they are now struggling and the bottom line and the treatment of the customers shows it.
