Pros

Good working environment; people are treated with decency. Offices are generally nice. Nice job of reshaping the company is generating great (unrealized?) potential.

Cons

Middle management is weak resulting in indecisiveness. Communication is also very weak. Career development is very poor, people apparently can only fill one role. Leadership is non-existent, survival mode management only. As with most large organizations, personal reputation management far exceeds management of the business.

Pros

The Woodlands location is beautiful. However, because of their location, I believe they pay people less. Most do not want to commute to Huntsman so they feel they have a captive market with their employees. Salaries are not competitive with Houston.

Cons

Pay is lower than similar jobs in the area.
