      Pros

      People are great and management generally wants the best for employees. Pay is near the top in industry. This is a good place to make a career, employment is very stable and chemicals produced are usually in high market demand. Many people are employed for 25-30 years before retiring comfortably. Expectations are high but so is the overall compensation and quality of life that comes with it.

      Cons

      Dangerous chemicals in nearly every part of process with fairly high chance of exposure during routine day. Maintenance of plant equipment is poorly managed and funded. Workload can be heavy and overtime requirements are probably more than most people would like.
